William Wayne Poynter

William Wayne "Pooch" Poynter, 77 of Knob Lick passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at his home. Born April 24, 1945 to the late William Carver Poynter and Dorothy Bennett Poynter. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Wendy Poynter and grandson Kayden White. Wayne was the owner of Poynter's Used Cars. He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed his cattle and going dancing every Saturday night. He is survived by four children. Dewayne Poynter ( Monica Savage) of Knob Lick. Cody (Kim) White of Edmonton. Dorothy (Steve) Chapman of Edmonton. Sandy Paananen (Dan) of Glasgow. Grandchildren Jacob Chapman, Damien Poynter, McKinlee White, Branch White, and Megan Baldwin. Sister Elaine Beard of Edmonton. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, January 21st at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe Co. Memorial Gardens.
