Susan Elizabeth Barton

Susan Elizabeth Perkins Barton, 54, passed away on Friday, April 17th, 2026. She was born on June 24th, 1971 in Glasgow, KY to Jill Harper and Thomas Perkins. She took joy in antiquing, scrapbooking, old movies, historical dramas, and was an avid reader. She was fascinated by the Titanic, Princess Diana Spencer, and the British Royal Family.

She is survived by her children, Cameron Barton (Jared Blythe), and Jack Barton, one grandchild, Jase Blythe, three siblings, Cam (Shelly) Saltsman, Anne (Gary) George, and Pete (Rose) Saltsman, her mother, Jill Harper (Dr. Robert Seay), and the father of her children, Tony (Treasa) Barton. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Other than her father, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Evelyn Blythe, and her grandparents, Jack and Sue Acree and Arce and Audrey Perkins.

In keeping with Susan’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no funeral or memorial service will be held.
