Muriel Joette Moss

Muriel Joette Moss, 89 of Edmonton, KY passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2025, at Metcalfe County Healthcare. She was born February 4, 1936, to the late Thomas and Kathleen Skaggs Hurt. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy Hurt and Jr. Hurt. 

Joette retired from Edmonton Manufacturing after 42 years of service. She enjoyed crafting with Cathy, making dolls and sewing. Joette also enjoyed following along with the love of her life LC when he went trap shooting in which they made many great friends. 

She is survived by her husband of 70 years LC Moss of Edmonton, daughter Cathy Lynn Moss, sister Betty Farinberg (Walter), sister-in-law Slyvia Acree, and caregiver Becky Harper. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services for Joette Moss will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM Sunday until time of the service here at the funeral home.
