Melissa Ann Wyatt

Melissa “Missy” Ann Wyatt, age 57, of Edmonton passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the University of Louisville Hospital on Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was born on February 3, 1967, and is the daughter of Ricky and Donna Firkins.

Missy is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Ovie and Shirley Firkins; her grandmother, Helen and Dee Gaskins; and her father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Geneva Wyatt.

Missy is survived by her parents; her husband of 35 years, Jeffrey Dale Wyatt; her daughter, Sydney (Wesley) Morgan of Lexington; two brothers, Matthew Firkins and Nicholas (Ashley) Firkins, her nieces and nephews: Jake Andrew Firkins and Nash Reed Firkins, Jessica (JT) Tucker, Cheyenne (Chris) Asher, and Kruz and Zaylee Tucker; her sister in laws: Brenda Walden and Sandy (Mike) Curry; her three soul sister’s: Cricket Gilpin, Glenda Oginski, and Beverly Gable; and her three favorite puppies: Thomas, Ace, and Sadie.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 2:00pm at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, Kentucky with burial in the Firkins Family Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00am until the time of service.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help towards the funeral expenses.
