Loretta Fay Edwards

Loretta Fay (Howell) Edwards, 85, of Edmonton, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at her residence. Loretta was born August 25, 1938, to the late Willis and Elnora (Dial) Howell. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edwards, her sister, Margret Curtis, and her brother, Jay Howell.

Loretta raised a beautiful garden and loved tending to her chickens. In the 1960's through the 1990's she lived in Chicago but spent that time working hard trying to get back to Kentucky.

Survivors include her daughters, Vanessa Kay Widen (Mark) and Nancy Edwards Fournier (Daniel), her grandchildren, Olivia Diehl (Ryne), Alana Widen, Felicia Widen, Weston Widen, Kamerin Edwards Fournier, Karson Edwards Fournier, her great grandson, Agustus Diehl, her sister, Joann Glass, her brother, Danny Howell (Brenda), and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Loretta Edwards will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
