Linko Rock,92 of Center, KY passed away Thursday, August 20,2026, at his residence. He was born December 5, 1933, in Green County to late Otis and Clara Rock. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Zona Rock and his siblings Eva, Roscoe and Charles.

Linko was a hardworking man who knew the meaning of an honest day’s work. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955, serving during the Korean War.

After his time in the Army, Linko spent his life doing what he knew and loved best, farming. He was no stranger to long days, working from sunup until sundown raising tobacco and other crops, mowing fields, and spending countless hours hauling hay. Farming wasn’t just a job it was a way of life.

For the past 55 years his son, Michael, worked right alongside him, helping tend to the farm and sharing in the work that meant so much to them both. Together, they spent more hours in the fields than could ever be counted, building not only a farm but a lifetime of memories. Linko remained a farmer until the very end. A true testament to his hardworking spirit, he was still hauling hay just two days before his passing. He never was one to sit still when there was work that needed done.

He is survived by his son Michael Rock (Jane) of Center, KY, grandchildren Kelcey Rock (Emily) of Bowling Green, Dagan Rock (Nicole) of Horse Cave and Leslie Antle (Jamie) of Center, seven great grandchildren Michael, Ridge, Linkon, Boone, Alba, Rhett and Ransom, and two sisters Belinda Pickett and Carol Dean Hobbs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
