Linda Carroll Grider

Linda Carroll Grider, 83 of Dickson, TN passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Dickson. She was born January 16, 1942, to the late Joe and Olene Whitlow Young. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Buford Grider and a brother Roy Lee Young.

Linda was a woman of many talents and interests. She found joy in gardening, where she nurtured not only flowers and vegetables but also the bonds within her family. Her creativity flourished in sewing, as she crafted pieces that often served as treasured gifts for her loved ones. Cooking was another passion, as she enjoyed preparing meals that brought her family together around the table. Most importantly, Linda cherished the time spent with her great-grandchildren, and family who were the light of her life.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kay Isenberg, her granddaughter, Krista Bell (Joey), great grandchildren Jolene Bell and Parker Boone Bell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services for Linda Grider will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM Saturday until time of the service here at the funeral home.
