Jo Anna Costello Hurt

Jo Anna Costello Hurt, 65 of Owensboro formerly of Edmonton, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 in Owensboro. Jo Anna was born December 10, 1959, to the late Elsie Compton Nance. Besides her mother she was preceded in death by a brother Ricky Allen Costello.

Jo Anna is survived, by her son Jonathan Young (Caroline) of Houston, Texas. One granddaughter, Josephine Young of Houston. Three brothers. Charles Costello (Sandra) of Edmonton. Steve Costello of Glasgow, Randy Nance (Shari) of Edmonton. Five sisters, Robin Lawson (Roger) of Glasgow. Judy Warren (Larry) of Berea, Betsy Williams (Jay) of Scottsville, Debbie Costello of Somerset and Amy Nance of Glasgow. She is also survived by her aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation was chosen and her cremains will be interred beside her mother in the Jeffries Cemetery. A private memorial service will be held later.
