Betty Jo Faulkner

Betty Jo Faulkner, 77 of Edmonton, KY passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born January 27, 1949, to the late Clyde and Ethelen Kessler Faulkner. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Billy Faulkner and nephews Joey Curry and Nate Faulkner.

Throughout her career as a caregiver, Betty Jo was known for her dedication and gentle nature. She truly never met a stranger, finding joy in being around people and offering comfort and support to those who needed it most. Her warmth left a lasting mark on the lives she touched, making her the best caregiver in the eyes of many who were fortunate to know her. Betty Jo's love extended beyond her work. She had a profound affection for her animals, who were her companions and source of comfort. Her musical talents brought joy to those around her as she often played her guitar. A woman of faith, Betty Jo was a member of Big Creek Holiness and enjoyed going to church.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews Eddie (Shanna) Faulkner, Stevie Page, Jill Faulkner, Kimberly Peek, Eric (Jessica) Faulkner, Clay Faulkner, Summer Branham, Hannah Faulkner, Austin Faulkner and Mike (Sandy) Curry, sister Barbara (Jody) Curry, sister-in-law Kathy Faulkner and special friend Rachel Kinslow. She is also survived by a host of great nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services for Betty Jo Faulkner will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday and after 8:00 AM Saturday until time of the service here at the funeral home.
