Barry Cleo Whitlow

Barry Cleo Whitlow, 78 of Edmonton, KY passed away Tuesday, January 13,2026, at his residence. He was born December 18,1947, to the late Ashby and Dortha Froedge Whitlow. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Ashby Anderson Whitlow and three siblings Faye, Roger and Patrick. Barry was the owner of B. Whitlow Trucking Company. Besides his love for trucking he enjoyed his old cars and driving around on the backroads.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Sharon Romines Whitlow, two sons Barry (Vickie) Whitlow and Robert Matthew Whitlow (Julia) both of Edmonton, six grandchildren Dylan (Katlyn) Whitlow, Colby Whitlow, Alexa Jo Geralds, Ashton Ward Whitlow, Adalyn Whitlow and Ellie Whitlow, three step grandchildren Aaron Wheeler, Zach Wheeler and Cayden Webb, three great grandchildren Akela Whitlow, Ashby Whitlow and Esra Whitlow, one step great grandchild Carter Wheeler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services for Barry Whitlow will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 16,2026, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday and after 8:00AM Friday until time of the service here at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the cemetery fund and dropped off at the funeral home.
