Charles Blair

Charles Gordon Blair, 86 of Edmonton passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at his home. Mr. Blair was born June 29, 1936 to the late Alley and Mary Sanders Blair in Champaign, Illinois. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sue Ann Bailey Blair in 2009. Three sons. Gordon Wayne, Charles Ray and Danny Dale Blair. He was also preceded in death by his sibling. Mr. Blair was a lifelong farmer and member of the Whickerville Baptist Church. He is survived by two children. Vanessa Yates of Greensburg and Pastor Richard Lee (Jessica) Blair of Smiths Grove. Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He is survived by his caregiver, whom the family is very thankful, Libby Burton of Knob Lick. Funeral services for Mr. Blair will held 12:00 PM, Friday at the Whickerville Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 1:00 PM on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Butler Funeral Home for the family burial fund.
